Reason #1 that WordPress is better than MovableType

I’ve just been provided the first reason why the default configuration (or at least not far deviated from that) of WordPress is better than that of MovableType, my previous choice for weblogging. If you remember this and this, my reason for leaving MovableType was the overwhelming amount of SPAM I was receiving.

I received this e-mail notifying me of a comment added to the blog:

Note that if it determines that a comment might be spam, it puts it in a moderation queue. Spam is pretty much unstoppable, but this makes it much easier to remove SPAM from my website. Big thumbs up to WordPress for this feature.
